The Georgian Bay Snow Riders (district 7) has completed building a 3200sq. ft, groomer maintenance shop and meeting facility.
A building of this nature can only be funded through fundraising and community donations. The construction started in May 2023 and was
built entirely with in-kind donations of labour from our local contractor and our volunteers.

Our new facility not only houses GBSR but also accommodates Orillia (ODSC) as well. The district of 10 clubs can enjoy access for meetings and training of our volunteers and staff which we feel is an important step in maintaining our volunteer base.

In dedicating this building to GBSR past president John Power, whose vision in 1967 founded the OFSC. The building is on club owned property and boasts to be on the second busiest trail in Ontario. It is in the same community where it all started 55 years ago. It is our hope that in dedicating this building to his vision we will inspire youth and volunteers to continue to support this organization for generations to come.
